Hey GuitarBuzz peeps!
I love hearing about what music my friends are listening to. SO many of my favorite songs, artists, and albums were recommended to me by friends and other musicians, and I’m eternally grateful for those recs.
Lately I’ve been digging the album Afrique Victime by Mdou Moctar. He has become a giant in the world of Tuareg—hypnotic north African desert blues music.

The Birthday Massacre and My Chemical Romance (Danger Days is my favorite album EVER).
Saw them live in a small venue 2008, IIRC. Couldn’t see much, but it was a good show!
My daughter and I saw them in Seattle last year.
AMAZING show!!!
Must have been a better venue than under the bleachers in the Football stadium in 2008. 
The new Protest the Hero album Within. Insane guitar stuff that I could only dream of playing.
Been on a bit of a Triumvirat kick lately, so I’ve been bouncing back and forth between “Spartacus” and “Illusions on a Double Dimple.” Great albums.
Was never a big MCR head in my formative years but my wife somehow copped tickets to see them later in the year, so I’m going to have to be doing my Black Parade homework sooner or later!
Going to go see David Byrne’s ‘Who is the Sky’ on Friday. Never would have dared to dream that I’d get to see anything Talking Heads-adjacent in my lifetime but here we are! Life’s good sometimes.
Be prepared to have fun at the MCR concert! It was one of the best concerts I’ve been to.
